Based on the restaurant’s comprises
Network, the server’s assistant (busboy)
has two options.
c. If Signal Caller is part of the network, the server’s assistant busses a table and then updates the table status throughout the network via their pager. Information is transmitted by wireless
radio which changes the table status from a blinking red light to no light, notifying the hostess and server that the table is ready.
d. If only Table Turn monitors make up the network, the server’s assistant presses the blinking red light on the closest monitor, turning the light off. This occurs at all monitors, alerting the
staff that the table is ready to be seated.
